Good morning, everyone! Happy 2016!
2015 was an incredibly busy and eventful year. Left the job, back in school at last, finally working toward that teaching license I had started out on the path to years ago.
But in the run-up to that, which was quite chaotic, art rather went by the wayside. That's why, in the new year, I'm going to resolve to draw something new every day. Naturally, that means the return of the Drawn to Help project. I think I'll start with baby animals for January - it seems time for a fresh start and the infinite possibility that represents!
I'm going to keep it simple this year, and split the donations between
UNICEF and
Farm Sanctuary, both of whom are wonderful about helping those most desperately in need.
New cards will be posted here and on
Etsy.
And if you're a stock photographer who wants to be part of this year's project, let me know! 366 references is a
lot - suggestions are welcome, and the less time I spend waiting for permission to use stock, the more time I can spend working on them!
Many thanks to everyone who has helped me keep going through the years, through both aid and encouragement. You rock!
All the best for the new year!
